She's no Lacey, but she holds her own very well and adds something unique to the band... Ultimately I think Flyleaf is Lacey's band to sing in, but I'm also glad there is no ill will from Lacey's part when Kristen joined the band. Lacey even thanked Kristen for letting Flyleaf continue in her first book 'The Reason'. Edit: I do think that Kristen puts emotion into her singing for Flyleaf, but it is definitely a little more just performance feeling that genuine feeling like it is when Lacey sings her songs, I almost have tears in my eyes when Lacey isn't there singing her songs but that's because I know how much emotion she put into them, Lacey's music is just as unique as a finger print. Nobody can really do what she can with her songs, whether that be Flyleaf or her solo band. But at the same time Kristen did what God wanted her to in the band for the time that she was in the band.

See this right here is what makes me sad about awesome bands they lose original members and I get it if your signed you have to replace them as you owe the label so many records. It's honestly never the same MOST of the time not all the time sometimes it works out. The ORIGINAL Flyleaf man they were and always will be an important band to me, my buddies, my family that loved them, Christian music, and rock music as well. You CANNOT replace Lacey's vocals and that's no disrespect to the new singer but she was on another level and felt the music and vocals every song and their stage performance which is it important to me, they got into EVERY song on the set list and man I truly miss the old Flyleaf. Sometimes change is good but sometimes it's just not the same in music, in my humble and respectful opinion.

She can sing, but her voice does not hit the same way lacey’s does.. kinda hate it

watching this girl sing these songs is like watching yo yo ma cover a nirvana song

this girl is so incredibly talented, but she looks and sounds like a pop star acting like a rock star. everything was technically flawless, top to bottom (which is super hard!), but she didn't have the soul quite right, and her screams were honestly laughable. But she's so good that she put her own style of grit in her voice to sound at least more aggressive. God bless her she should still be selling out arenas with that voice.

It's too bad that she wanted to end it. She's beautiful and her music is fun. She is a quality person. Hearing her speak I wouldn't know it was her from her songs and shouting. Not sure about the singer who replaced her and now the band has no singer.
